Types of hunts we offer
The Timberwood Ranch understands there are many different types
of hunters and many different types of hunts.
We will do our best to accommodate your style of hunting whether it be guided,
non-guided or with some special requirements.
Be sure to review the types of hunts below and the
hunt seasons, packages and dates.
Group Hunts
The Timberwood Ranch caters to group hunts, space is limited so make your group reservations early.
Guided Hunts
Are your tracking skills getting a little rusty?
Ask about our guided hunts, we can lead you to the prized big game you hunt.
Our family has hunted this land since 1928, we have the knowledge you need
to have a successful hunt. Make your reservations today
and ask for a guided hunt.
Non-Guided Hunts
If you have the skills and equipment necessary to navigate the rugged terrain,
and track your quarry, we have a land only package for you. This package offers
you access to our prime acreage, but does not include
lodging, or amenities.
Hunts for the Physically Limited Hunter (PLH)
We have private land that is perfectly suited for the physically limited hunter.
The relatively flat land, hunting blinds and stock ponds eliminate the hard climbs and long hikes.
We will even load and transport your kill back to the lodge, or to the meat processing plant in Cortez
for you.
So if you're unable, or simply unwilling to hike the many miles for your quarry,
call the Timberwood Ranch and request the PLH Package.
Hunter Support
We work with you to create the right hunting experience for you.
We will tailor your package to include lodging, meals, transportation, ATV's and personal hunt guides.
For those not needing or wanting the extra amenities, we offer a land only option.
We will do our best to accommodate your tastes, or dietary needs with sufficient notice.
If you or a member of your hunting party has special requirements contact us,
and we will determine if we can fulfill those requirements.
